Let's Eat!

A Very Hungry Hilbert

Starting in reverse order, you will see Miss Emerson's first big meal. Santa brought her a high chair, cereal and bowls. We were all excited to see what she would think about rice cereal and she LOVED it. Getting cleaned up from her busy day, check out that belly and those checks.

Yes, that was a good meal.
Everyone needs a binkie after they eat, don' t they?

A unhappy girl, she was ready for a drink or more cereal- we tried both and both worked.
Em wonders what is this stuff in my mouth...

Hey- this isn't too bad, just a bit on the face.

Big sister gets to try too.
The girls with the new high chair.

Ok, Em here is your first bite of cereal. She took it without any problem and opened up for another bite- just like a little bird.

All things that I think Miss Em might have been thinking tonight...
So, will anyone else be joining me tonight?
I do appreciate the table by the window.
I believe there is a midnight seating as well, correct?
Em was digging the new tray and her new high chair. She liked to kick the tray.

Ho Ho Ho - Hilbert Christmas

Em and Mommie playing with her new doll (Anna Mae). We think Em likes her a lot because she is bigger then her!
Aunt Tracy and Emerson have some chatting to do and Nana looks on and giggles...

The boys and their toys (well the kids toys) now on assembly patrol

Excited!

Sammie was very excited to help Emerson open her first stocking. Santa brought some baby orajel, baby lotion and a pacifier holder. Life is good for little Miss Em.
Emerson is too excited to show her face or she is scared of her mommies present in the next picture. Yes, I am way excited about my yellow snow boots.

"Wii" are just a little excited about the new Wii. So excited I missed the families faces.

Webkins- yes, say Sam!

Em thinks this Christmas morning thing is pretty fun!

Em is looking at her American Girl Bitty Baby doll and wondering who that baby is looking at....

HE Came!

A little bit excited is Miss Samantha clapping, jumping and running on Christmas Morning. She had to check outside the window first to see if the reindeer ate her treats and they did.
The Hilbert family- and many different tries to get a picture of the 4 of us on Christmas morning.

Sam was so excited about her new sled. C'mon snow all ready and get rid of this sunshine!

Christmas Eve More Photos 3

Yet another tradition, a Christmas program with the Christmas story acted out by the kids.

A few of Ang's cousins children. I believe there are 28- 2nd cousins. This picture is just a few of the extended family. Ages range from 17-3 months.

Christmas Eve with the Kucera Family

We celebrated Christmas Eve with Ang's extended family on her mom's side. Many traditions lived on with a full spread of food with our traditional oyster stew and milk noodle soup, fresh fish by big brother Mattie, a few cocktails and mashed potatoes with creamed peas, desserts, more desserts and cookies and a few more cookies and desserts.

One more meeting before the big "dance"

The girls and mom, along with Nana and Papa took a trip to see Santa on Christmas Eve. The girls had a few last minute things to visit with him about. While we were there Santa read the Night Before Christmas to them. Sam got all dressed up for the outing and lunch, all on her own. The excitement was in the air and a very fun Christmas Eve new tradition.
