Santa 's Visit

Time to mail our letters Small Kids and Big Kids at Santa's mailbox.
Emerson is writing a note too

Sister is helping Emmer write her note- we think she asked for a Elmo.

Samantha's note for Santa...

Samantha got to be in the band - playing jingle bells. That was really neat- thank you Touch of Gold band. It was her idea to go meet them and then they asked her to play with them. Neat day.
The girls on the train - so very happy.

I dont' think I like this- thinks Emerson.

This is Em in line waiting to meet the big guy- note her foot in the "snow" kicking it!!! He knows if you been bad or good????

Samantha's Christmas Concert

We are so proud of you Samantha. The 1st graders were "sheep". Em loved to watch her big sister.
Samantha is on the far left side- in the white dress and white sheep ears.

Friends

Sam's favorite teacher- her music teacher, Mrs. Russell.

Here come the sheep ....

The girls a little wound up after the concert.

Emmy No No

Emerson's is having a hard time understanding all this Christmas stuff. Then, we really made it hard when Samantha and I brought home 2- yes 2 large elf's. Doesn't everyone need two elf's in their house about the size a 1 year old?

The other night, she was eating french fries from the golden arches (one of her favorite snacks). She calls them ii ii's. Sam and I thought it was pretty quiet, when we peeked out and saw her trying to give the elves the ii ii's. (you can see one in her hand and one in her mouth).
Lil Emmy no no is also in time out now. Some times multiple times in a few minutes. She stands there, well sort of. She was swinging her leg around to the side when Daddie was supervising yesterday. She also responds-yeaaa when you ask her if she will be good. Darn Christmas trees are really causing her trouble so she is getting to be good friends with the "corner".

Ang's Black Friday Birthday- Life is Good

The end of the day - Samantha, Shelby, Emmy with Me all asleep after playing so hard. Boy did we have a super fun day. This is all the same day- my birthday.
Ice Cream in the van (em was sleeping)

The boys heading our way after the treat to DQ.

Emerson is a bit estactic over the IPTV tree at Festival of Trees- "Melmo Melmo (Elmo) is her FAVORITE!

Samantha tells Emerson to look....
Samantha and Santa

Gpa escorting Emerson while Samantha decorated cookies. Grandma escorting little Emer to visit Santa (she didn't even cry).

Out to lunch together. Salad and pasta (more of my favorite things)

Showing off our black friday finds including several scrapbook machines- yippie it is a great birthday.Mom and me so proud of the full trunk (several times over).

It is really early ( like 8:00) and we were home allready for breakfast and to unload and had been shopping for 3 hours already. Yes, you have to take pictures along the way- boy we look silly and a bit well tired.

Dad and Sam and Mom all outside the fabric store at 5:20 am to get in line for the scrapbook machines. It was cold but so fun. This was Dad's and Samantha's first day after thanksgiving adventure. Dad's job- guard Samantha, Sam's job- keep an eye on Grandpa, Mom and Ang's job- run and hold hands and shop shop shop. Boy we had a lot of giggles and fun.

This is at 5:05 in the car- EARLY. Sam slept in her clothes so she was ready to go.

Thanksgiving 2009

Much to be thankful for in 2009- a few photos of the celebration with our families. Hard to believe it has come and past already- and now getting ready for a blizzard here. The 1st two pieces of art work are of Emerson's. Samantha continues to LOVE to paint, draw, write and color.

The Hilberts on Thanksgiving

Auntie Bean and Owie making a fruit turkey- yes lil Owie, we will do this every year now even when you are in college. We had a ball.

Well who doesn't love the Macy's Day Parade?
Em really LOVED her Aunt Tracy on Thanksgiving and gave her lots of "love".

We had family photos taken a few weeks ago, it was a cold rainy morning but it worked out. Happy smiles for all. These are just a few of the many pictures.
