Emerson's 1st Birthday Party

Em's 1st Birthday party. She LOVES Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Minnie Mouse. We also had her favorite food, pizza- she ate two whole pieces. Em loved seeing everyone, loved the presents and really just had a ball at her party. She was so much fun to watch and see her enjoy her special day.

A bit of birthday cake for the little lady. She loved playing with the frosting. Sure was fun to watch her. She was so fast that we didn't catch a good picture with her and her cake. We have one that just says "merson" since she swiped the E first. She is fast.

Puppy Pics- One Year Later

The fun of Em's Puppy Pictures. A whole year of monthly photos by her stuffed puppy. Today she showed her sister and I all her "stuff" and we had to try two different times to get her to sit still. We have lots of her moving around. The last picture was her "first" puppy picture a year ago today. She has changed a little bit. What a fun way to track her changes and have some fun.

1st Grade Open House

Today Samantha enjoyed the open house at St. Pius and seeing her 1st grade room. It was fun to see her books and desk. She is so excited to start tomorrow.

State Fair Fun

The Vlasak grandchildren all enjoyed the fair together on Tuesday.
Em rode the super slide with mommy- she was in the little backpack with me. She was asleep on the way up and and the way down she was wide awake. She didn't cry- the dare devil I thin liked it. She went one year earlier then big sister- she went for the first time at one and half. Grandpa and the girls all got to go with ang and mattie. What fun!

My State Fair

Chicago uncle's came to Des Moines and kept the State Fair tradition visit for Samantha. Emerson got to take in the fair for the 1st time.Yup- that is Sam in the air!
