Go Hawks

It was tailgate party at Daycare on Friday for the big Iowa/ISU game. Em was sporting the black and gold. On Saturday, we had two lil Hawks too.

Lil Miss 1st Grader

Sam's 1st spelling test- 100% and two stickers- one for the test and one for her writing. Way to go Sammie!

Some beautiful pictures of Samantha. She is enjoying first grade, loves to jump rope, play outside and Fridays when she has Spanish, Music and Art class. Her favorite day... then it is Dilly Bar Friday after school.

The Diswasher

Hooray- look at me. I now not only play with the dishwasher and figured out how to get on the door. So proud. Not a good thing and Em was not happy when she had to get off the door. Doing dishes has a whole new meaning and how fast ya gotta do em before the helper arrives.

Em's Favorite Things

Emerson's favorites... she recently discovered the dishwasher and thinks getting to walk around it and "help" is one of the best things. In addition, she has music in her and hears it and starts to wiggle and dance. The video is from last night where she was dancing to one of her favorite songs.

Ladies Enjoying Salad

The ladies enjoyed a trip to the salad bar tonight. Each got to pick their favorites with dad. Em picked meatballs, cottage cheese, grapes and Oreo fluff for dessert. Sam had strawberries, grapes, blueberries, turkey and cottage cheese. They both thought it was pretty neat.... Em really thought it was neat when she was introduced to the OREO fluff. She made quite a mess!
