Mommie with the girls before heading out to trick or treat.

It was freezing, raining, and windy but we had fun. It was nice to warm up after our quest for candy and fun. Happy Halloween 2009!

Em's Halloween Party

Lil Emmer is checking out the scarecrow at school....

There she goes, down the hall at daycare- she discovered she can leave the room now. Her teachers shared that she would back up after they found her in a different room- I think she thought she couldn't be seen then. She likes to know what is going on.

Em's artwork -she says "that" when you look at it in her room at "school".

Brr- Mom and Em on Halloween March together.

Em and her friend Catlin (cheerleader) check each other out when they arrive at school. Sure wish we knew what they were thinking and telling each other.

Trick or Treat!

Happy Halloween Emerson!

Playing At Home

Em loves the cupboards... Sam was running to push the cupboard shut so Em wouldn't pull everything back out.

More Birthday FUN

We celebrated belated birthday wishes for Rob and Sammie last wekend. Some fun at a playground, fun lunch and Stellas and a lot of gigles. Happy October Birthdays!
The Hilbert crew at Stellas (Sam is in pink hat and Rob is in brown) The birthday kids!
Sam didn't want the malt on her head but held the cup for Emerson. Sam did great and didn't move, even though Em moved around- she wondered how come she gets in trouble for dumping her cups and this place everyone cheered- not to mention getting to stand on chairs- where is the equality there she wondered?

Games...

A new twist to an old favorite- pin the tail on the donkey, no more. Now it is stick the cell phone sticker on the poster.... still need to be blindfolded.
Run Run Run- Cake Walk only a candy walk - inside. Sure was fun... for the grown up's too. We giggled as they girls would run, then have to skip, or pat their tummy's or cover their ears. This was all in the friendly competitive spirit to win a lollipop trophy.

Sweet Times for a Seventh Birthday

A Candy Buffet for Sam's Candy Theme Sweet Seventh Birthday Party
The party girls- darn flu had four of her 1st grade classmates home. These 8 ladies had fun.

The candy buffet was a lot of fun for the whole family to put together. The selection included many of our favorites... candy corn, autumn mix, orange slices, chocolate covered raisins, smarties, sweet tarts, starburst, sour watermelons, gold chocolate coins, pink m & m's, peppermint puffs, gum drops, mints, dots, gummy bears, pixie sticks, and licorice whips.

Samantha and Emerson before the party.

Samantha's Sweet Seventh Birthday

8 little girls ready to go outside to hit the ice cream cone pinata.

1st up - Samantha. Everyone got several chances, including mom and dad- it took all of us to break open the pinata. What fun!

Run, run, run, candy everywhere....

Happy Birthday Samantha!

The Birthday Girl and the party decorations she helped mom to make.

Lucky Haleigh won the "guess how much candy" in the candy jar game. We had guesses from 34, to 90, to 250. The lucky number was 350 on the nose.
You will note the big smiles and blue lips from the pixie sticks....
