School Days

Samantha is really enjoying school. We would too if we had three recesses! The picture below is from the day she had her school pictures taken. She has started learning about the "letter people" at school - this week is Mrs. T and last week was Mr. M. It is amazing to hear her talk about the letters and the sounds they make. Each Wednesday she has to go on a hunt for things that start with the letter- without parents. Then on Fridays, they play "prove it" with their special sounds that each letter person makes. It will be fun to see what she picks this week. Last week for letter M- she made a menu using scrapbook stickers and constructions paper...she thought of it all on her own. Emerson was very impressed.
